What is the ACE scholarship program?

ACE stands for Achievement Through Commitment to Education.  


The Mission of ACE is to establish a sustainable, community support scholarship program guaranteeing every qualified Palo Duro High School, Caprock High School, and Tascosa High School student, access to a college education.

 

Who is eligible for the ACE scholarship in the Tascosa Cluster?

Students who complete 5th grade at Bivins, San Jacinto or Wills Elementary are eligible for the ACE Scholarship.  Eligible students must then sign the ACE pledge as freshman by September 30th.  (Middle school enrollment has no impact on eligibility.)

What are the requirements to qualify for the ACE scholarship?

  • 85% GPA (all A's and B's)
  • no more than 2 absences per 6 weeks
  • no ISS/OSS
